Current-induced inverse symmetry breaking and asymmetric critical phenomena at current-driven tricritical point

چکیده

We study critical phenomena associated with a spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking in current-driven nonequilibrium steady states by using holography. find that the exponents $(\ensuremath{\gamma},\ensuremath{\nu})$ at tricritical point are asymmetric between restored phase and broken phase. Their values different from those of mean-field theory, whereas other values. The diagram respect to temperature current density shows reentrant structure: is again low temperatures presence density.

Mirror symmetry breaking as a problem in dynamic critical phenomena.

The critical properties of the Frank model of spontaneous chiral synthesis are discussed by applying results from the field theoretic renormalization group (RG). The long time and long wavelength features of this microscopic reaction scheme belong to the same universality class as multicolored directed percolation processes. Thus the following RG fixed points (FPs) govern the critical dynamics ...

A Nonperturbative Study of Inverse Symmetry Breaking at High Temperatures

The optimized linear δ-expansion is applied to multi-field O(N1)×O(N2) scalar theories at high temperatures. Using the imaginary time formalism the thermal masses are evaluated perturbatively up to order δ which considers consistently all two-loop contributions. A variational procedure associated with the method generates nonperturbative results which are used to search for parameters values fo...

μB-driven Electroweak Symmetry Breaking

We consider a scenario in which the dominant quartic coupling for the Higgs doublets arises from the F -term potential, rather than the conventional SU(2)L × U(1)Y D-term potential, in supersymmetric theories. The quartic coupling arises from a superpotential interaction between the two Higgs doublets and a singlet field, but unlike the case in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model ...

Symmetry Non Restoration and Inverse Symmetry Breaking on the Lattice

We study the finite temperature symmetry behaviour of O(N1)×O(N2) scalar models on the lattice and we prove that at sufficiently high temperatures and in arbitrary dimensions their full symmetry is always restored or, equivalently, that the phenomenon of Symmetry Non Restoration which, according to lowest order perturbation theory, takes place in the continuum version of these models, does not ...
